60s Style Needle Felted Deer

I used 100 % wool for this little guy. I began with plain white because I figured it was the most plentiful of the colours I had.

I added an outer layer of the orange/brown colour and added the white spots....also ears and a tail.

In the end I gave him "Bambi" style eyes at the suggestion of my daughter. So there he is.

Another Needle Felted Miniature

This time........by special request from my daughter, I made a little Chipmunk. Here he is sitting on my WACOM tablet by my computer.

His eyes are tiny black glass beads.

First Needle Felting Projects

For my very first needle felting project, I decided to go with something very simple that I am familiar with.....the Ookpik.

I put him next to the original Ookpik I made many years ago out of sheepskin.

This evening, I was inspired to make another miniature animal using the needle felting technique.......a tiny skunk!
