My First Mosaic!
THIS is what I'm doing to one of the other cheap tables. I just put the grout in this morning, and I am very pleased with the result! I got my supplies from "Mosaic Beach Studio" at Woodbine and Gerrard, and the lady there is SO helpful! I bought some great tile nippers from her after a failed attempt at breaking them with a hammer while placed inside a ziploc bag. Tile nippers are SO much easier.
Anyway, I built the design around a ceramic coaster and went from there. At the moment, all I have are these blue tiles to work with, but after seeing how easy it was, I'm going to venture out into glass tiles and metallics.
I started doing it as practice for our bathroom. I'm determined to tile that myself.
