Illustration Friday - Linked

I didn't take very long on this drawing. It's just ballpoint pen on regular bond paper. I took it into Photoshop and tidied it up a bit and added the white highlights.
To me, this represents the word "linked" because I feel cigarettes are linked to death. My Mom died 17 years ago from lung cancer due to smoking. Screw you tobacco companies!

The Stump House (Incomplete)

Once again, I'm using papier maché to build this new stump house for my daughter's toy mice to live in.

Here is a recent shot where I'm adding more greenery.

It isn't finished yet, so I'll wait until it is before I post any more photos.

Walnut Baskets

After great difficulty in finding walnuts still in their shells at this time of year, I was finally able to try something I've long wanted to do. Make walnut shell "baskets".
I originally made these because I made a Tree Stump House out of papier maché for my daughter (which I will upload photos of later) and I was trying to use natural materials for the mouse inhabitants to use for their tools and eating implements etc.
