Because I was trying to remember what this thing looked like (from the Flintstones episode "The X-Ray Story") and couldn't find an image of it, I'm posting this so others can have this reference too. When ever I think of a "germ", I always seem to default to this thing! I guess because I was still fairly young when I first saw this episode on TV and there weren't many science shows on at the time to show me what a real germ looked like.Okay....so I was a dumb kid.
